Representado Radio de la Communidad
Fue un placer poder participar como assistente con mi hermana Emma en el programa de Panorama en WJFF en Jeffersonville, NY, la estacion de la communidad. Nos hiso falta Marcos pero avansamos adelante sin el, pues estaba de vacaciones, pero estara de vuelta la semana que viene. Participar como voluntaria no es algo facil. Pero se aprende mucho y se goza en cantidad. Saber que habemos tantos Latinos en la communidad anima el espirito. La musica inspira y hasta el que dice no bailar se tiene que mover. Pero lo que si llega al corazon son las llamadas y las cartas de los oyentes que apprecian lo que escuchan. Gracias, gracias, gracias.
Bueno, Emma, Dona Carmen y yo, fuimos a un concierto Latino gratis en Montecello el sabado, Agosto 4, 2007 y bailamos casi todo lo que tocaron.

Seria fantastico encontrar una manera de traer El Sol de New York a la communidad Latina de Sullivan County.
Ademas de musica tambien habian mesas con comidas como bacalitos, alcapurias, arroz con gandules, pernil, pollo asado, morsilla y coquito de tamarindo y mucho, mucho mas. Otras mesas ofresian musica Latina, otras calteras, munequitos y mas.

Representing Community Radio (Translation)
It was a pleasure being able to participate with my sister Emma on the program Panorama, at WJFF community supported radio in Jeffersonville, NY. We missed Marco, but we continued ahead without him since he was on vacation; he’ll be back next week. Participating as a volunteer isn’t easy. However, you learn a lot and have lots of fun. Knowing there are so many of us Latins animates the spirit. The music inspires, and even those that claim not to dance, have to move. What really reaches the heart are the letters and calls from the listeners. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Well, Emma, Dona Carmen and I went to a free Latin music concert in Monticello Saturday, August 4th, 2007 and we danced. We heard live music by three groups.

It would be fantastic if we can find a way to bring El Sol de New York reach the Latino community in Sullivan County.
Not only was there live music, there were venders offering foods such as fried codfish cakes, fried mashed green plaintains stuffed with beef, rice and chick peas, roast pork, roasted chicken, blood sausage, ices made of tamarindo and other tropical flavors, plus much more. Other tables had Latin music, ladies handbags, toys for the kids and more.
I thought we would stay a little while, but we remained for the whole concert. The music was tremendous.
