3/30/06, Recovering from my Vacation
"Cowboy" Kurt Knuth played a fine rollicking set of music on Country Crossroads today in my stead. Thank-you, old pal. Charlie Feathers is the bomb!

3/23/06 I'm Still on Vacation
Thanks to Lisa "Kitty" Richard and Charles "Lefty" Petersheim for filling in as hosts of Country Crossroads today. Lisa is the volunteer voice heard on WJFF's airwaves on Monday afternoons hosting Fresh Air and All Things Cornsidered. I, meanwhile, was sipping cappuccino at Café Eckermann (named for Goethe's secretary and formerly known Három Holló) on Andrássy út in Budapest.

Thanks to Glenn Woodell, host of Sunday Brunch here on WJFF for filling in for me this week while I stomped about in the fields and footpaths of Long Ashton, Bristol, UK.
