Yearly, Richard Gilman of KBCS Bellevue, WA posts the results of his pooling of posted playlists on the folk dj list. " I have developed an automatic system which tallies most of the playlists posted to FOLKDJ-L into a top list posted monthly. Not all airplays wind up being counted, but a large enough sample is counted to get a good sense of what is popular."

When I got to the station, I could not find several of these (listed at the end) which I had expected. (Another reason Im so glad I get lots of doubles and keep them in my music room where I prepare my shows) Much of the time was spent on announcing delays and icy condition news, so not as much time was available for songs. Thought Id get to about 6 or 7 more....Tim O'Brien, Zoe Speaks, Rise Band, Shindell, Rosalie....

Many calls were in support of the continuous political nature of a lot of the artists works. "We cant let our country go like this" were some comments. One gentleman referred to the pendalum swinging and hanging on, and keeping these views on the air.
