Folk Plus Playlist for Saturday November 23, 2002

Theme:   Jay Ansill- The Two Horizons  -  Origami - Flying Fish

Many of us do not make our living as a DJ. Like many others on the list, I make my living as a librarian. I thought it would be fun this week to present a dewey decimal playlist.  Sometimes cataloguers must make choices. Bogle's sad horse song could be in world war two, or horses, for example. So this isn't meant to be too serious. So here goes. The Dewey Decimal Classification system (DDC) is a general knowledge organization tool that is continuously revised to keep pace with knowledge. The system was conceived by Melvil Dewey in 1873 and first published in 1876.  www.oclc.org/dewey/
