Theme: Pledge Drive

No one called during Car Talk. I challenged the station manager who came in to pledge with me to justify the thousands we spend on car talk, when the morning 6 - 8am folk show earns the money for it. Then the car talk supporters began to call in. It sort of became a theme, people calling who hate or who love the show. One older women with a Towne Car said she counts on the brothers to know how to talk to her mechanic. Others voted for more folk in that extra hour. One man says he drives every saturday and listens twice to car talk.
