from opening night funded the purchase of a new sound board. The club was
open every night after opening night. Our stationery read "Speak Easy,
dedicated to quality acoustic music"

Sundays
through Thursdays there was a cooperative showcase run by and for the musicians.
These evenings both exposed new talents and provided opportunities for
established acts to enjoy playing unannounced.
