Previous recipients of cassettes of Folk Plus have been posted here and on Chrisitne's site.
The following people have been recipients of a Angela's cassettes distributed by Christine Lavin during one of her shows.
Here is a note from a cassette tape recipient:

Hi Angela, I attended a concert by Christine Lavin on Feb. 16 th.. She
gave me a copy of Birds, your 2hr. show  Folk Plus. I have enjoyed your
show and will be giving the tape to a local singer by the name of Skylark
    tomorrow.  Rita O.  Mooresville, Indiana

Dear Angela,
I raised my hand and told Christine Lavin at her 12/29/01 performance in Rochester that I didn't have a CD player, so she gave me the tape of your  show. Then I procrastinated...didn't listen to the tape for almost a
month. The I reneged on my promise...to critique it and send you my thoughts. Let me just say: I love it, I'm grateful that you are doing the  show to provide the venue for this music...thirdly, having tried to do my
own (blues) show in the eighties, I know how much work goes into putting a show together.

I am a nationally published (US and Canada) writer and I walk around lakes.  I have walked around 36 lakes
in NY, including all eleven Finger Lakes, Lake Ontario and Lake Erie. Erie's shoreline was 625 miles and took me 25 days in one fell swoop. I also walked around Lake Champlain last fall-275 miles in 11 days.  I hope to be the first human of record to walk around all five Great Lakes.  When I have listened to your tape a couple more times, I am going to send it to a folk music-loving friend in Reno, who operated MASH-type clinics in Pakistan during the Russian invasion of Afghanistan in the late '70s and early 80s...see what a heterogenous audience you have? I hope receiving  this in some way brightens your day, as your tape does my mornings, Rich

Dear Angela,

I was the lucky person to receive an audio cassette of one of your Saturday folk music radio shows which featured new releases. I received the tape from Christine Lavin on October 19, 2001 at her concert in Manchester, CT.

A condition to receiving the tape was to let you know where in these great United States the tape has traveled. So, I will bring you up to date in order to fulfill that requirement. From Manchester, CT the tape went with me to Canaan, NH.  On November 22, 2001 I gave the tape to a friend who lives in Narberth, PA. I gave the tape with the same condition that was imposed on me. So, hopefully, you will be able to track the next
movement of the tape. Thanks for making the tape and offering it to the public. I wish you much happiness during the upcoming holidays.   Frank

While at the Dave Van Ronk concert on November 25, 2001 I handed Christine a two hour show which I aired highlights of the 2001 Folk Alliance conference. Hundreds of folk musicians gathered. I spend hours screening and listening and condenced it into two hours.

Read the response of  cassette recipient John Morcaldi of Cheshire Connecticut (Feb 11, 2000).  Read his letter here (80k pdf).  He recieved the tape from Christine's show in West Hartford CT, January 22, 2000.  Thanks John for contacting us.

Read a responce from a woman named Rose, who recieved a tape while attending a concert of Christine Lavin at Bodles New York. The show she heard was an interview featuring John Gorka.
