"The definition of folk music runs as wide as the difference in space between a living room and a stadium.
Each week I explore a theme with the music and artists that I call FOLK "             -  Angela Page

Folk Plus is a blend of music from the contemporary folk scene. Angela draws from her experience of music gathered from over 20 years running college folk venues in the late 70's, the Speak Easy in Greenwich Village through the early 80's, her involvement with the production of the Fast Folk Musical Magazine and her ongoing radio work,  with hydro-powered, public radio WJFF. Since 1993 Angela has hosted Folk Plus, posting weekly setlists since 1998. Angela is currently a reviewer for SingOut! Magazine, and has been a North East Regional Folk Alliance (NERFA) showcase judge since 2002, beginning with the formals and then coordinating the Tri Centric Showcases for the fall conferences at Kutshers, in Monticello N.Y.

Check out  Christine Lavin's web site and read about the Folk Plus's CD Chain.  Christine Lavin is passing copies of  Folk Plus shows at her performances across the country and she publishes letters from those who respond.  In an effort to widen the folk fan base, Angela and Christine Lavin are spreading new folk music to new fans.
